Northwestern Ontario area does not have a community-based FASD Diagnostic service available; however, Healthy Generations Family Support Program can assist parents and guardians to prepare for a diagnosis of FASD. The program may assist in organizing the background information and assessments that contribute to a FASD assessment and assist with referral to a FASD Diagnostic Clinic. The Healthy Generations Family Support Program will provide support to the family and child after the assessment.

The Surrey Place Centre FASD clinic provides services to individuals 18 years of age or older who have or are suspected of having a cognitive disability. The team offers diagnostic, educational, and advocacy services. If an individual is found to have a cognitive disability or dual diagnosis, treatment services such as counseling, behaviour therapy, and case management may also be offered.

St. Michael's Hospital's FASD Clinic uses a multi-disciplinary team approach to assess individuals of all ages: infants, children and adults. A pre-assessment process is used to determine if criteria for full assessment are met, and to ensure earlier entry into the diagnostic process. The clinic also offers a developmental clinic for infants, toddlers, and children up to seven years old.

Provides FASD-related services to High Praire and surrounding communities in these regions. The FASD Program has FASD Diagnostic and Assessment Clinics that offer services (including referrals) to adults and children. Other services include a caregiving support group, FASD support workers, mentoring to pregnant women who use substances, and a resource library. Has two regional neurodevelopmental clinics which provide diagnostic and assessment services to individuals with or suspected with FASD. Other services include: advocacy, in-home visitations, training workshops, and preventative educational services related to FASD.
